Juneteenth Screening & Discussion for the Rutgers community

On Thursday, June 16th from 2-4 pm, we will host a Juneteenth screening and discussion event that will be open to the Rutgers community. The event will include opening remarks from a Rutgers scholar about the meaning and significance of the Juneteenth holiday, followed by a screening of an episode of "Blackish" that focuses on this holiday. After the screening, we will have time for a facilitated discussion. Light refreshments will be served.

This event is sponsored by Coalition for Anti-Racism, Social Justice, and Equity (SAS-OUE CASE) and the School of Arts and Sciences (SAS).
