Sample Workshop Topics
Backwards Course Design
Participants will intentionally design their course, backwards! By focusing primarily on student learning and understanding and on how students will demonstrate success, participants will then be able to align their instructional strategies and learning activities to support student learning.
Canvas: Getting Started
Learn the basics of Canvas such as how to organize your content using modules, post your syllabus, use SpeedGrader to provide feedback to your students, and access the SAS Course Template. Participants will know the basics of how to set up a Canvas site by the end of this workshop.
Canvas: Assignments and Assessments
>Learn the ins and outs of assigning and assessing your students in Canvas. Participants will know how to set up assignments, set up their gradebook, use SpeedGrader to provide feedback to students, and set up assessments in Canvas by the end of this workshop.
